Job Description Overview: Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Dentist provides comprehensive, high-quality preventive and restorative dental care to patients across all lifecycles.
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat dental conditions for SeMRHI patients while developing documented management plans.
Care Delivery: Perform non-surgical periodontal treatment, as well as root canal therapy and crowns for patients under 18 years of age.
Supervision & Admin: Effectively supervise dental assistants, maintain complete problem-oriented medical records, verify timecards each pay period, and fulfill required IT/security trainings prior to deadlines.
part-time $155,000 - $198,000 per year
Pay is based on experience and administrative standards.
BenefitsAdministrative hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Requirements Education: Graduate from an approved School of Dentistry with a doctoral degree (DDS or DMD).
Licensure: Valid Mississippi dental license with unrestricted privileges under Controlled Substances status.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience providing dental care in a community health or related setting.
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong analytical and reasoning capabilities in dental practice.
